METHOD OF PRODUCTION
The selected grapes are vinified at a controlled temperature in steel vats with medium maceration (7-10 days). After an aging period of 10-12 months, partly in barrels and partly in large oak barrels, it is subsequently refined in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months.
THE WINEMAKER COMMENT
A great classic from the territory of Montalcino and Banfi. It combines the elegance and solidity typical of its nobler brother, Brunello, with an immediacy and freshness that make it a versatile wine like few others. Pleasant from the beginning, it perfectly tolerates a long period of aging.
