Nose: Pleasant notes of ripe black fruit, such as blackberries, figs and dried plums. Spices reminiscent of nutmeg and black pepper, touches of tobacco and leather. A subtle balsamic aroma surrounds its base with aromas of pastries and dark chocolate.
Palate: Subdued entry, the flavors of black fruits, spices and pepper are emphasized. Friendly tannins, fair acidity, elegant and structured. Friendly and spicy finish.
Pairing: White and red meats, dishes with peppers, pork chops, spaghetti with bolognese sauce, lamb chops, mushroom ravioli.
