TASTING NOTE
EPU exhibits a deep garnet color hue, revealing a bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as currants and cassis, on a background of cedar and tobacco that subtly intertwine, spices and mineral nuances, reminiscent of graphite, that enrich and add complexity to the set. On the palate, this wine dazzles with its solid structure, weaving fine-grained tannins, velvety texture and harmonious balance. Furthermore, its innate freshness leads to a long, delicate and elegant aftertaste. EPU masterfully manages to reconcile sophistication and delicacy, fusing these attributes with its firm structure and persistence on the palate, qualities it shares with its famous namesake, Almaviva.
