Hand-picked in small boxes. Double manual selection of bunches.
Gravity and treading in small cement vats. No pump.
Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.
Aging: 15 months in the same barrels.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red, dense.
Nose: Deep, with ripe black fruits (blackberries, blueberries) and floral notes of pepper, with a lovely licorice note (violet zest) and small empyreumatic touches that emerge with aeration (toasted bread).
Palade: Full, concentrated but not excessive, with velvety tannins that become evident on the finish. The finish is long, over the ripe fruits and licorice, highlighted by a subtle softness that in no way hides the freshness. A complex and seductive wine.
Aging Potential: 6 years.
