Tasting Note
Almaviva captivates with its deep ruby red and its fresh, elegant and complex nose. An alliance of ripe fruit and subtle floral aromas initially dominates, before giving way to notes of violet, licorice, ink and graphite.
The juicy attack of ripe fruit, such as raspberry and black currant, is well balanced by a delicate structure and texture of soft, round tannins, with flavors of vanilla and cocoa. Almaviva is an exquisite combination of freshness, elegance and balance, an expression of an exceptional harvest.
