VISUAL: A dark cardinal color with abundant violet tones is evident. Very full-bodied, clean, and bright.
NOSE: Intense and complex aromas, highlighted by powerful aromas of very ripe black fruits, such as blackberries, cherries, and currants, in excellent harmony with spicy tones from the clean oak aging process, with roasted notes, licorice, coffee, and vanilla.
PALATE: An intense, full-bodied, and elegant wine. It is very broad, lively, with a generous mid-palate, thanks to the balance between firm, ripe tannins that bode well for a future, and fruity and spicy sensations, with a powerful, voluminous finish.

Matarromera Crianza is a cult red wine from Ribera del Duero. Its first vintage, 1994, was awarded the title of Best Wine in the World in an international competition run by the Spanish International Wine Organization (OIVE). Since then, this 100% Tempranillo has been one of Matarromera's hallmarks.
This wine reflects the ripeness of the fruit and is barrel-aged. It also rests in select fine-grained, lightly toasted French and American oak barrels to fully respect the fruit's expression. After aging, this Matarromera wine is bottled, where it completes its refinement until it is ready to be served.
