Johnnie Walker Swing Blended Scotch Whiskey was the last blend created by Sir Alexander Walker II, 81 years ago, in 1932. Its extravagant bottle in the shape of a decanter with a convex bottom allowed it to be displayed on the shelves of bars on transatlantic ships. , without having to be secured by squeezing it between other objects. During the strong oscillation present in some moments of the voyages on the high seas, the decanter rocked gently to the beat of the waves, attracting the attention of potential customers with its movement and the sound produced. Other whiskeys packaged in traditional bottles had to be stacked against each other, or partially hidden in baskets, to prevent them from shattering when falling from the shelves.
