Fewer than 100 casks have contributed to the creation of this rare Macallan whiskey for its smoky flavour.
The few mysterious casks have long lain undisturbed in the dark cellars of The Macallan under the watchful eye of the master distiller, until he felt they were ready to be released.
A true collector's item, as this Rare Macallan is not expected to be released again, due to the few existing barrels of The Macallan smoked.

TASTING NOTE
COLOUR: autumn leaves.
NOSE: Peat smoke, hints of dried fruit, nutmeg, ginger, polished oak, dates, figs and raisins
PALATE: A touch of dry smoke, which reveals itself and evolves into softer tones of oak.
FINISH: long, fruity and with an elegant touch of smoked wood.
