Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes in stainless steel tanks, Delamotte Blanc de Blancs boasts exceptional purity. Blanc de Blancs is a mineral Champagne in which the chalky character is enhanced by blending it with a reserve wine. This mineral note is the very essence of our vineyard and its Chardonnay vines, which grow in pure limestone soil. Since wines can be somewhat austere in their youth, the aging on the lees extends well beyond the fifteen months mandated by regulations, to four or five years. A second aging period, after disgorgement, further enhances its elegance and finesse.
It pairs beautifully with oysters and grilled fish. It pairs wonderfully with fresh radishes and a pinch of salt. Blanc des Blancs is also an excellent aperitif wine that can be enjoyed on its own.

An expression of the chalky terroir from which it originates, the legendary Delamotte Blanc de Blancs will delight true Chardonnay lovers. Whether enjoyed as an aperitif or paired with seafood, it is the quintessential Delamotte.
A great Champagne is, above all, a great wine. This is one of the principles of the House of Delamotte, founded in 1760 and located in Mesnil-sur-Oger. Delamotte is one of the five oldest houses in the Champagne region because we respect traditions, work in service of flavor, and craft our wines in the heart of the legendary Côte des Blancs.
TERROIR
The terroir of the Côte des Blancs stretches from Cramant to Mesnil-sur-Oger, passing through Avize and Oger. Its location is one of Delamotte's greatest assets. The limestone soils, flora, and sloping vineyards contribute to the exceptional character of the grapes from this land and allow us to produce delicate champagnes of consistent quality. Celebrating this terroir and bringing out the best in it while respecting the vines and the environment is the essence of Delamotte.
