Madrecuishe is part of the Karwinskii agave family. It thrives in dry climates and typically grows in cylindrical. Due to the dense core of the agave and its low water content, mezcal made from Madrecuishe usually has high minerality with fruity and floral notes.
With 16 years of maturity, this agave is more complex and is used in structured cocktails where distillates are the main focus. Its smooth finish is perfect for a Negroni or a "Naked and Famous".
Agave: 100% Agave Karwinskii (Maguey Madrecuishe) with 16 years of required maturation.
