Tasting Note
Nose: Explosive, we will be delighted by the memories of blackberries, currants and licorice, with subtle floral notes and an exquisite balsamic background.
In the mouth, impressive silkiness at the entrance. It runs through giving us an enviable balance, warm tannins, sweet, intense, penetrating, its fineness and roundness will culminate in a long persistence.
Recommended Pairing: Red meats (fatty), game, lamb and mature cheeses. And on the most memorable occasions.
Its character of finesse and elegance is marked by the calcareous soil on which the small (0.85 ha) and old (planted in 1964) vineyard or vineyard of Sanchomartín (hence its name) is cultivated, in which a limited cluster production.
