LOLA Artisanal Series Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon is a pure expression of Napa Valley Cabernet, reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s. The grapes are grown on Mora Avenue in Calistoga, just behind Seth and Rafa’s home property on Greenwood Avenue. The wine shows an intensely dark ruby color with aromas of red plum, black cherry, and currant gracing the nose. On the palate, firm structure and natural tannin provide a gripping intense mouthfeel falling off into a long supple finish. This wine will continue to age beautifully for 30+ years. Native yeast fermented. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
