Don Melchor, Cabernet Sauvignon is aged: 15 months in French oak barrels (71% new and 29% second use). Aging potential: Over 35 years. It is a tasty wine, with a soft attack, then showing great freshness, along with the elegance and power characteristic of Puente Alto. It is a wine with a velvety texture, lush body, and a very long and persistent finish.
And in this Combo it is accompanied by a bottle of Carmin del Peumo Carmenere, Very elegant, complex, box of spices, blueberries, graphite with notes of cassis and tobacco. Mouth filling with underlying mature tannins, deep, concentrated, with a long aftertaste and distinctive touches of Terroir, graphite marl and mineral nuances of Peumo.
