The cool and foggy Carneros region is known for producing grapes with a natural balance of acidity and ripeness. Fruit was hand-picked in the cool of night to ensure it reached the winery in pristine condition. This elegantly balanced, medium-bodied wine is 50% French oak barrel (14% new) fermented and aged sur-lie. Aromas of honeydew and wild plum. Flavors of lime and lemon heighten the vibrant acidity. Great body and weight, contribute to lushness on the palate. Great complexity of toasted brioche, lemon curd and nectarine.
